Abductor pollicis longus

Origin 1- lateral dorsal ulna below the insertion of the Anconæus
2- the interosseous membrane
3- middle third dorsal surface of radius
Insertion anterior aspect of the base of the first metacarpal
Action(s) abducts and extends the thumb at CMC joint / wrist flexion / wrist abductor
