Blog Disclaimer

Blogs (weB-LOGS) are personal entries by Orthopaedia members. They may look like regular Orthopaedia wiki pages, but nobody but the author can edit them. These entries are hopefully informative and interesting, but they are always personal and idiosyncratic.

The contents of the blogs certainly do not represent the views of the Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons (ABJS) - or any member except the author.

Here are the rules:

  • Nothing offensive is allowed. If you write something offensive, it will be removed. If you write something patently offensive, especially with warning, we might rescind your membership as well (but only with due process and the ability to appeal).
  • If you read something offensive, notify us and we will investigate; we will remove offensive (or otherwise inappropriate) content.

Overall, we are in the same corner with the late Justice Brandeis, who said that the antidote to bad speech is more speech, not enforced silence. Thus, if you read something that you strongly disagree with, please post a comment to the post or a rebuttal on your own personal space.
