Orthopaedia® is a collaborative orthopaedic knowledgebase for orthopaedic surgeons and musculoskeletal health care professionals - a repository of educational materials and a professional network for the exchange of information. All members can add or edit information throughout the workspace and all content is protected by a Creative Commons License to improve knowledge translation. Orthopaedia® has Managing Editors, Section Editors, Content Partners, an Advisory Board, Participating Groups, and a Sponsoring Organization but it belongs to the Community of Practice for orthopaedics and musculoskeletal health.

Orthopaedia® Contents forms an outline of the knowledge of orthopaedics. Each section shows the structure of its subject and serves as a table of contents to its coverage on Orthopaedia®.
